Join Us!

Victor High School's marching band is open to Victor students in grades 7-12, and no prior experience is required. Our award-winning marching band is comprised of students who have previously played a wind or percussion instrument, string players, vocalists, and students with no previous experience in music. There is a place for you in our wind, percussion, and color guard sections.

Marching Band

The Victor Marching Blue Devils are a National Class band that has won eight New York State Championships and two Bands of America regional championships. The Marching Blue Devils are a 2023 BOA Regional Championships finalist. VMBD is open to any Victor student in grades 7-12, regardless of musical experience.

Victor Color Guard

Winter Guard

Victor Varsity Winter Guard is an auditioned winter guard that regularly finishes at, or near, the top of local and regional competitions, and were the bronze medalist (A class) at the 2016 WGI World Championships. Cadet Guard is open to Victor students in grades 5-7.

Victor Indoor Percussion Ensemble

Indoor Percussion

The Victor Indoor Percussion Ensemble is a 9-time New York State Champion and a WGI Medalist (2017). VIPE 2024 is the NYS Gold Medalist, WGI Regional Championships medalist, and is currently the only Open Class percussion ensemble in New York State. Student placement in the ensemble occurs at the end of an instructional “camp”, and no prior experience is necessary.
